Early Christmas
I got an early Christmas present from my parents when they came for lunch today, a set of twelve limited edition prints of Barbara Hanrahan linocuts, beautifully framed, which I have now hung up and down my two flights of stairs. They look amazing. I'll try to get a picture of how they look together, but it's a bit tricky getting the right angle, in the meantime here are the twelve prints:

It was also my first time preparing a meal for more than two people, as my uncle came for lunch as well, I did a sort of buffet lunch starting with little yum-cha style appetisers then a cold meat platter and some salads, and a cheese platter and finally a fruit platter. It went very well. OK so it wasn't a cooked meal for four, but still a big meal. I think I have enough leftovers for the next three weeks though!
