Jamie sleeps at 11

Jamie doesn't understand the passage of time or space.  She frequently leaves the oven on or walks into the side of a table and knocks something off.  She allows for the unexpected.

Today I had a guest come over who had good intentions but needed time and experience to understand his way around the establishment of longterm bonds in relationships.  Jamie probably wanted to have a peaceful and early evening.  She made some chicken and forgot about it and cleaned and stayed out of the way while listening to an audio book.  What a gem she is.  Giving me space and time to do what is needed and not worrying about her own part in the night.  I'm going to kiss her head a few times when she sleeps and listen to the sounds she makes when talking to dream people.  I will kiss her and all of the other children stuck in dreams for moments or eternities and wish them safe passage to the places beyond.
