McClaren - A Generous Orthodoxy
This is a pretty brutal review of the latest offering from Brian McClaren, who we had here at Wycliffe only a month or so back. I don't agree with all of it, but his demolition of McClaren's new TULIP is very good.
Just in case you hadn't worked it out, I'm not an Open Theism fan, but then I don't think Luther, Augustine, Paul and Jesus would have been either. I've said it before and I'll say it again - if you don't believe in election then don't call yourself "Reformed". In fact, if you disagree with Luther on the subject (and after all, that's what the Reformation was about) of election, don't call yourself "Protestant", 'cos you're not.
