It all leads back home

For everything I've done, and all the BS I've talked about being a rambling man, I have ended up in the same house where I grew up.

I didn't want it to be like this, but this seemed to be the only option I had. Lets see:
1.) Its rent free
2.) There are jobs everywhere here. Unemployment in the area is like at 1%.
3.) Its rent free

So yeah, I had to quit my band, put my dreams on hold or whatever to come home and pay off the shackles of debt.

I saw an old friend of mine the other day, and we were talking about credit cards. She said, "Why in the hell do they give credit cards with high limits to nineteen-year-olds?"
I agree with every part of that statement.

Since I've come home, I've been thinking many hours, considering I have very few social engagements here, about what I've learned at college:
1.) If its free, be wary of it, especially free money.
2.) Art is hard.
3.) Where is the line between selling out and sticking to your guns?
4.) What can I do about all the shit in the world?
5.) Just because you have power, everyone still doesn't have to like you.

I've been reading a lot since I've come home. I've read 4 books, started and gave up on two, and now in the middle of McCullough's John Adams biography. Perhaps its because the Adams book draws greatly from his letters and journals that I've been drawn back to this forum. Also maybe because I don't have anyone to tell my thoughts to anymore.

In my short history of dating, I've had two women whom I have become close to. One took a seemingly long amount of time to grow close to and one in a short amount of time. Of those two relationships, I ended on and she the other. But what i miss the most about these relationships is that I could tell them how I really felt about everything. and now, i don't have anyone I can trust like that. So, in short, I miss the intimacy of having another.

Since there was no work to at work, i took an extended lunch. The weather was perfect for taking such a lunch. I had an undelicious lunch at some diner, and then next door there was a deli. the tables were outside and i bought some ice cream and read the Adams book at a sidewalk table. This woman appeared with her luch and she sat down with friends. I looked her over with my eyes. She had long black hair, long slender legs, and had fair skin. She was wearing a white sun dress with a small blazer over her top. Her face was nothing exciting, but I liked her legs. She crossed her legs and i could see just about all of her thigh. I would glance back and forth between my book and her thigh. She then uncrossed her legs and I could see right between. I couldn't tell if she was going commando or not because her thighs covered her pubis mons region.

This may be just some Peeping Tom's thrill, but i wonder if she saw me looking at her and she uncrossed her legs for me? Maybe she liked the attenetion. Or maybe it was just my luck.

BTW, Dragonforce rules.
