Sure, why not?

An update? OK!

I am officially a courses registered Duke student! Even though I was mentally signed up for my classes when I reserved them, I now officially have my awesome schedule. Slight point of nonawesomeness: all days have classes beginning before 9 o'clock. Alas! At least I have plenty o' nap breaks and it will keep me from being too lazy. And it's not like TJ, where I get to fight through Braddock to get to class. I just need to hop a bus to West campus, or just roll out of bed for my ROTC classes. Yes, life is good.
Speaking of lives, guarding them is also going ok. NVPools managed to screw up my paycheck yet again this year, but I think I have gotten it fixed. It's nice to have a job where you have time to read Harry Potter (OMQOMQOMQOMQOMQ, I had forgotten how much I love the books and movies, especially #4).
Today was fun too. I sorted photos with my mother (can you say nostalgia), checked Facebook every like 3 seconds, and then went running with Matt Cancian and my fellow Jog-Ho, Alice A. And yes, Two Chefs is good, but I would not say that it was made by God himself. Also, is there anything consistently funnier than "Family Guy?" If so, I have yet to find it.

I have absolutely nothing of substance to say, save one thing. I never really thought that whole distancing myself from my family before college thing would happen. I mean, I am so close to them. But lately, I feel like I am making an effort to be physically and/or mentally absent from home as much as possible. Like, I am constantly out of those, either working or with friends. And when I am home, I don't really do anything with them. It's been weird for me to see this change, especially since it was so unexpected. I didn't imagine it'd happen to me.
