Lost in London
Well today was on of those days That I will never forget- Maggie and Steve Sullivan have been are tour guides to lovely England |Country side and today they took us to London- It was Fabulous- We first went the London Tower it was very hostoric and we were able to see the crowned jewels After we went to Picadilly circus where we bought tickets to tomorrows Guys and dolls starring Ewan Mcgregor- It was £50 which is $100 -But it will be worth it- So tomorrow Amy and I will take the train and go back to Lovely |london- The weather was So hot today - All of us girls wore tank tops After Picadelly we went to Harrods which is very posh it was Enormous it had 5 floors and every designer you can think about-My freind AMy bout a pair of sunglasses= over $200 and I saw a shawl there for £1,100= Alot of dough like $2,000 anyways- after Harrods we went back to Victoria Station to go back 'home' - |Amy and I decide to have drink before getting on the train so we almost missed out train- We ran to catch it and then didnt know if it was rioght so we got off- The next trrain we missed too- ALL we could think about was Maggie and Steve and how worried they would be- We finally figured it out- after some REeally bad directions we ended up taking four train=s to get back to Werthing- Crazy We only ended up being about 30 minutes late Not too bad- But we felt bad- On the bright note we know we will be able to handle ourselve tomorrow-I am really excited about Guys and dolls tomorrow- But word to the wise Dont ask Tube workers for help -They are like American Gas station Attendents They dont know what they are talking about- Another funny thing is The british will stand on cue for anything-They dont even know what they are standing for and they will just cue up- (line up) Okay well we finally are back 'home ' and we ordered Indain food So I got to go eat - It will be here soon- two glasses of |French Wine on an empty stomach I am feeling a little tipsy- Hope Allis well with my friends- I actually today was so excited after buying the last tickets to the show for Guys and dolls i was thinking about posting on LJ - The crazy thing is that the tickets are sold out unitl Dec 4th- and we didnt think we would go but when we walked Picadilly We found a theter ticket booth that had two cancellations and we were able to but them - It was great- i diodnt want to see any other show- iOkay well MAybe Mary poppins- Ok much love to all - Cheers
