Sunny DAY

I was unable to sleep on Monday night partly because I was hungry and it was really hot in my room - Jess had passed out on the bed already and felt so far away- Finally she woke up and held me - I Couldnt sleep still and my stomach was really growling now so I got up and ate some junk and then tried to sleep- I watched as 2:30 passed and then 3:30 somwher after that I fell asleep and woke up at 6:45 I layed on her legs curled up to her body and when she woke up she smiled. Every morning I wake up next to her is so Good. I have put off going to Rockford all week because I want to spend every day with her. We had such a great day on Tuesday I had to be in the city for my passport appointment at 10:30 - We got into the city early and found a little cafe with outside seating in Printers Row to eat breakfast at. We easily found the federal building a few blocks later and without any problems were able to get my passport- Its funny though All the people there - Its like the DMV but on a whole other International level- After my appointment we walked to through this Fresh fruit and flower market and split a peice of Strawberry Ruhbarb pie Mmmm. Then we walked to Millenium park and played in the water with all the little kids- It was 94 degrees and kids and adults were just loving the water falls off the buildings and th sparatic water that sprayed. It really seemed like the city was alive and happy - or maybe it was me. We walked hand in hand enjoying the weather, the people and each other..
Later we went to lunch a a really cute sandwich shop in Downers Grove and got Icecream from Jess's old store
I love summer food- Cottage cheese and peaches, Chicken salad sandwich, blackberry icecream, Ice tea with lemon and Sangria with fruit!!!
