According to the god that is Barbra Walters (well maybe not a god. but at least she makes good choices), Karl Rove is the most facinating person of 2004.
I couldnt agree more. Actually.. I might argue for Obama. but I dont think she interviewed him so oh well. but still a good choice. Not that I was watching, I was watching west wing, but thats beside the point.
You know why I love lakeside? everyone says its a bubble and theyre right. but its because I can sit in the office having an long talk with a smart, articulate person about everything from what is "normal" to the race for the DNC chair to the the definition of a strict-constructionist surpreme court justice. and then I can get home, get online, and argue with a friend from Indiana who I met in DC about why they shouldn't allow prayer at public school football games led by the coach. I love it because of the people. the people who indirectly or directly it has let me meet. from friends to musicians to future politicians to smart wacko gun nuts from indiana.
Not sure why I felt this was the time to say that. but whatever.
