On the plane ride back from Cincinnati I was able to combine some fun fiction reading with the timeliness of my recent visit to the William Howard Taft National Historic Site. Sounds like a book I want to read
I really don't know a lot about early 20th century political positions
But Big Bill seems a much happier person than thin cranky Woody Wilson

I think you'd like this book, it can be read in a few hours. Taft seemed to be very popular in the sense that people liked him, even if they wouldn't vote for him.
