Has anyone else noticed that the classifications of music types has gotten ridiculous? I mean there's so many categories for music nowadays its like each band IS its own category. Can't we just stick with the big categories, like Rock, Rap, Country, Metal, Punk, Pop?
Nooooo, we have to have Emo, Grunge, Trance, Thrash, Plonk, Nu-Metal, Death Metal, Black Metal...GAH! There's too damn many! If every band is its own category, then the purpose of having categories ceases to exist!!
