Whoa
Well, it seems some vandals had a blast with the 114th Pennsylvania and 11th Massachusetts monuments last night.

Now, I don't know who did that, but they certainly don't seem to be your run-of-the-mill 'I want a souvenir so I'm going to break the sword off this statue' vandal(s). To vandalize those monuments like that seems like it would take lots of time and lots of effort. Plus, they're both on the Emmitsburg Road, how did no one see them?? Even at 4 am you would think someone would drive by and see that. But then I suppose with the more effort put in, that shows the more disrespectful the vandal. I hope they catch who did that...
So, I've got a few job applications that ask for references, but those references can't be relatives or former employers. That strikes me as way odd. Don't they want to talk to my former employers to see if I'm a diligent worker?? I have no idea who I can put in for that. Anyone out there care to be one of my references?
