Since I'm not doing anything productive anyway.......

May as well post something as I've not posted in what seems like ages. So work has been extremely bonkers lately. Some of the money we raised at one of our fundraisers went missing for a bit but I was able to finally figure out what happened and all is right with accounting again. I can't even begin to tell you the shit storm that would have happened had it not been found.  We also lost a long time colleague of mine that was actually worth a damn. He's decided to 'persue other venues' whatever that means. Utter bollocks if you ask me. I think he just wanted to move out west and become a layabout. Now his speaker schedule has fallen to me and completely overwhelmed my schedule for the year. I'm heading up to Washington DC again end of the month and  I am due to head back to Southend in April for yet another 2 week 'clean-up' session at the old office. Why they can't just hire someone new is beyond me. It would be cheaper than flying me back each time. It is nice to go back and see all my friends and make sure everything is running proper at my house(the tenants are a nightmare). Even better, it would have been nice to go in May so I could attend the MCM Expo and maybe get a chance to meet up with some of the LJ peeps in the process. Ah well, them's the breaks I guess.

I've had the worst case of insomnia lately as well. I get it occasionally but I haven't had a spell like this since right after my mum died over 7 years ago.  In the last two weeks I think I've averaged something like 2 hrs a night. I can't believe I haven't just fallen over really. It may be due to the added workload but I've dealt with situations much more hectic before and not had a worry with sleep. May have to finally break down and go to the chemist to see what can be done. I hate to resort to that as I'm not big on taking drugs of any kind (not even for headache) but if I don't get rest soon, I may go completely off the rails.

Only good benefit of having insomnia is I've been able to catch up on movies and the like.

Fandom stuff has slowed *WAY* down but I'm not surprised. With Series 4 done and no Series 5 until at least April it's slim pickin's as they say. I did find out a little info today regarding a new character for Series 5 Episode 3. There's going to be a character named Henry Merchant(who I think is going to be Emily's husband) who will be played by Stephen Hogan. Here's a pic of him:

Got me to thinking that it would be amazing to see the rest of the cast in Victorian era costumes. (Especially our Andrew )

Andrew posted a demo vid on IMDB and shared it with the rest of us over on his FB page. It's really good save for the fact that it doesn't include some of my favourite characters...but that's okay. It's still a great way for him to promote himself. - http://www.imdb.com/video/demo_reel/vi78814489/

Other than that...not much other new stuff out there. Ideal is still filming and I haven't heard anything of a new project for Andrew so maybe he's just working on Keychain stuff with Alex, spending down time with his lovely Hannah and maybe working on something with a certain Nick Willing?? Will have to wait and see.....
