Friday Night:
Went to see The Graduate with Ben H, it was a great show and we had a great time. I'd see him fidget anxiously, and was wondering if he was bored or if he was trying to muster the courage to cuddle me beyond the noncommittal arm-and-knee contact. I'm guessing the former since he invited me in for beers afterward where we continued anxiously inching closer and closer to each other on the couch. Then midnight, it was time for me to leave. He walked me to my car to ensure I didn't fall in the Koi pond, but really it was to ensure that he sent me off with a most soft and sincere kiss goodnight.
Saturday Day and Night:
Drove around shopping, singing and smoking with Molly Laine. From Falmouth to Hyannis we cavorted, then waited at Trunk River for Kandyce and Laura. The night eventually found us at Ben Jenner's house, drinking 4 different bottles of JD, my perfect pint of Tanqueray, Molly snoozing on the couch while the Girls played Asshole with the Guys, and me and Raf chain-smoked on the porch. Pangs of longing, yup, still linger. But fuck that kid fo rllz. Because...
Sunday Day:
I met up with Ben H at Coffee O WH, where we ended up with the same tea, and said the same thing upon seeing each other "Sorry for the confusion but... oh, haha." No one was sure whether one was picking up the other, or if we were meeting there, or any other possible combination of scenarios. Either way, I got a kiss on the cheek, then some cute small talk. Then a walk in the woods, and I'm not sure if either of us had fun, but we saw a lot of Ladyslippers. Ladyslippers are Orchids, and Orchids are often referred to as the prostitute of the flowering plant world. This I mentioned and was met with a magnanimous silence. He was a member of the Ranger Rick Club, too! A masterly trait, I didn't even attempt to hide my excitement at this news. He must have had a nice time, because I got another polite, daytime kiss and a call a few hours later inviting me to a three-day long Terminator Marathon with he and his friends in preparation for the new film. Number 2 was his favorite. It starts tonight at 8pm ^_^
