After labor...
A friend gave birth to her daughter this morning... She had gone to the hospital last night and after many hours of trying to have natural birth, she ended up having a C-section...
Before we visited her at the hospital, I called to find out if I can get her any food. Come to find out, she wasn't allowed to eat for awhile...
I honestly didn't know this...
I was joking with Matthew that if/when we decide to have kids that maybe it will be rough during labor, but nothing would compare to when I'd be told I couldn't eat.... I can imagine me yelling: "I'M HUNGRY!!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CAN'T EAT?!!!" LOL!
Anyway, my friend, needless to say, was still pretty tired. She'll probably be in the hospital until Friday...
When I held her daughter for the first time, I almost started to cry... She and I have been through a lot together, and now, to meet her little girl... Soooooo cute!!!!
