"Oh Gosh" Melody, I certainly went outside. First in the coolish morning breeze and sun to hang up 2 loads of wash which dried by mid day I am sure. Then, after a morning of vacuuming, cooking corned beef and glumpkies and teaching school, and dropping Bernie off at the car place, we ate dinner and off we walked to the the pond to get out the canoe and the 3 of us rowed out there. The birds are still scarce, but the peep frogs are quacking to beat the band! I saw no deer, but Hope and I went to beaver clearing with Comet. When we walked apart from each other she would do circles and figure eights skirting trees and leaping over bushes as if her back end were independent of her front. We walked home, I made a cup of tea and I brought Hope to choir and Jesse and I translated Latin in the car with windows partly open. He is half way through this week with the whole first year and since he started some time in November that is pretty good. He knows it solid! So I am going to get him a colossal burger to celebrate.
After supper (I made a small fire cause it got chilly) we did more work and are now ready to watch star gate atlantis. Mel, like you, I can't sit and do something like that while it is light and beautiful.
I think I want a padded chair for the deck. I just have to learn the skill of sitting.
Gramma Fisher LOVED the extreme makeover of her home. She is thrilled and I bet it will bring her such happiness and contentment that she is bound to live longer cause of it. Grammy had opened the blinds to the top before she came home and Grammy said the room looked like it was glowing. Way to go Mel.
