What a busy time of year.
The snowstorm was spectacular. Blizzard conditions along with bright lightning flashes and thunder; who could beat that? Then the snow has just plain stuck on all the branches, so the subsequent sun has turned the world into a fairy land even 2 days later.
My annual Christmas tea was a lot of fun. Ok, booksforme, I am going to make you hungry again I think.
We had fresh strawberries, salmon chowder, sweet onion tart topped with tomato basil cheese, grape leaves stuffed with lamb and rice, holiday braided loaf, scones and lemon curd with whipped cream and 2 types of chocolates and several teas. Most of all a healthy mom and dad and sisters. I could not be more thankful.

I set up the dining room to look like a tea house with the round table in front of the loveseat and candles...

Jesse, who wears a full suit and tie by choice every Sunday Morning seems to be getting a following. Today 2 of his friends came decked out the same way. When Jesse and his friend sat together in church they looked so handsome and kind of like accountants.

Today was Poppy's birthday and I treated him and Mel and Joy's family and us and Tom, our friend, to New York pizza. Then I made a cake.
