This author doesn't seem to understand that fanfiction is about the characters, their lives and everything else that belongs to the original author. It doesn't mean that you are stealing their work. Especially if the original author gives permission for their works to be the subject of fanfiction. Just as long as you're not publishing it into books on the web or bookstores, or stealing her words then you will be fine.

However, if this one is so nervous about writing this type of genre, then why don't they just keep to original instead? It is well written, methinks. At least, I think so.

One thing that I don't understand is the whole Delores thing. Yes, she deserves punishment for what she did (and she does get punished later on), but it seems a little out of place in a story such as this one. Unless there is a prequel to this that is up on the author's page...

The characters though... this is not Harry Potter. That is all I have to say.

Their plan was to have them pretend to fight so that people like Ronald Dead Man Walking Weasley wouldn't bother the couple.
What bothers me the most about this is that this is literally the first time Ron comes up. It's bad enough to make Ron a bad guy, but you could at least explain why he's a bad guy. What makes this even funnier is that assuming this fight is anything like in canon, Ron got mad at Seamus on Harry's behalf.

We also get a bunch of stuff about Ginny that completely fails to line up with her canon portrayal.

Not entirely sure why I'm bothering complaining about this, since the writer thinks he's required to write characters completely OOC.

Also, why is there a question mark in the summary? Either the Greek gods are helping, or they're not.

Edit: Putting aside how OOC everybody is, our introduction to our hero is filled with hate. The very first paragraph is him musing how Umbridge is suffering. Even his gushing about Seamus is immediately interrupted by his hatred for the Weasleys.

I thought the same thing about the hate that Harry feels towards Umbridge. Which while it is understandable for him to feel in such a way... I don't think that the real Harry would of been that resentful about it. I find it strange that he hates the Weasleys though. They are his second family... and he loves Ron and his siblings as though they were his own flesh and blood.

I think that the reason for why the author in this case is going on with Harry's hatred for everybody in this story, is because the author themselves hates these characters.

And it would be one thing if they had a falling out. I could handle that. What gets me is that Harry already hates Ron (and is buddies with Draco, for that matter) and the author feels no need to explain why.

I can't stand fiction like this-OOC is pretty much OC, which makes it entirely Not fanficion. You can go with many ways for Harry-he's complex enough to be heroic, selfish, smart, stupid, resentful, generous, jealous and empathetic. But when Harry can't possibly be recognized as Harry, he ceased to be Harry. I don't get it. I just don't get it.

I'm weirdly curious about who the other despised Weasley brother is. Percy, I guess? Clearly it's not Fred and George.

The idea of Greek Gods fighting a zombie apocalypse is kind of awesome though. Not really sure why not!Harry has to be involved.

I think the others have said what needs to be said about this one so I'll simply say some of the excuses writers use in regards to their bad writing habits are getting old.
