For her to be successful, she needs a polyjuice potion, which isn't supposed to be a spell someone not yet at Hogwarts can use. However, I'm also not understanding why she's wanting to take such a risk. What makes Hogwarts better than any other school for secondary education? It also seems the only reason to make Hogwarts pureblood only is to cause unneeded conflict, but said conflict is never truly ever explored. Things are to easy for her. It's just there.

Why would James grow up to be a responsible adult? What does that even mean? Does it really mean up giving up ones childhood and teenage antics, or does it mean knowing when to act responsible? Even if they did become responsible adults - which is questionable - they would still be their goofy selves. Truth is, they're the ones more likely to be the "friend" parent than the "parent" parent.

As for the last part...

Hyper smart means child genius. Child genius aren't the result of environment alone, but are also the result of genetics. So, since the genetics weren't there in the first place, they would not be there logically in the AU, BUT with being hyper smart comes other issues, like being socially behind ones peers, and other quirks, which Harry doesn't have at all. If you want to write a character who is hyper smart, actually do some research, but don't attribute it to environment. That's not fair to the hyper smart kids who are child geniuses despite their poor environment.
