Wow. Just... wow. Nothing against this author or anything, but she really does need to think out her plots and characters a lot more than she has been doing. Right at this time, you can tell that these stories were written without a thought or care about the work or the characters. Which is a very bad habit that needs to be broken.

Alright, I don't get why there are so many OCs in these stories the author is writing. I get that I have original characters (and plenty of them in a few stories of mine), but they are either introduced much later in the story or they play minor roles and are only mentioned when the canon meet them/talk to them or are named in passing only. Having too many in one chapter is too much, methinks. Especially since it is hard to keep track of them... and you kind of forget why they are even in the story in the first place.

Is it just me or are the original characters taking over the canon's roles? I mean in one of the stories that I read that had one OC in it, their animagus is a great black dog like Sirius.

I've got to say that the magical ability that these original characters show is extremely unrealistic. It is clear to me as a reader that they do not have the intelligence to do this advanced magic... nor the maturity to do anything other than annoy readers. As a matter of fact in many scenes, I actually thought that Kim was a three or four year old. She acts in such a way that shows herself to be developmentally delayed. As for the "crazy" aspect of her character- I see nothing but severe immaturity that the author chooses to portray instead of that crazy side that she claims her character is. It annoys me actually to see this character at work here. She has no personality and is severely under-developed to the point of unrealistic.

Also, I am a little annoyed at the fact that the author tells us unnecessary things. One example being what happened to Percy with that girl in one of the stories the author was writing. Unless one of the characters is actually witnessing what went on firsthand, that scene should not be added whatsoever. Especially from his POV as it seriously screws up everything.

All in all, this story is annoying. The entire series is annoying. The characters are annoying. I have no idea what is going on other than the fact that the author has no clue as to what her works are about, and instead decides to compensate with pure, utter rubbish in a form of a "story series".

Yes... the original characters are taking over the roles of the canon characters. There is nothing original about them. Well... there is some original stuff like the whole arranged marriage bit, but it conflicts horribly with canon. I also agree with the fact Kim isn't acting her age. I'd never thought about the fact magic requires actual intelligence, but if you look at anything of the fantasy genre you'll find all magic users have some kind of intelligence to be able to use magic and the ones that don't have intelligence... they mess up all the time except for the few times they manage to get lucky. She's not acting dumb either like some of the magic users in some series. She's just... all around childish and lacking social norms. It's painful.
