3154: Mysterious Shadow - Mei Uchiha
Here is day twenty-six. Today's character is a Mei. Mei is one of the daughters of the Emperor in Mulan II.

SPECIES: She is supposed to be Japanese but has a name that the writer clearly indicates is Chinese.

CONNECTION TO CANON: Mei gets onto the train and introduces herself by saying what her wand is. (Sorry... but that is not how you introduce yourself. I don't know why Suethor's feel the need to introduce themselves this way. And funny thing is they only use it once. It's almost like they have to brag about their wands.) Well... she brags about her magical ability with Eastern magic and how her mother is dead. Draco shows up and his offer stands for her too. She gets sorted into Ravenclaw because “but you should know that being friendly with others is not my most pressing priority at the moment.” She writers her letter andwe find out that Severus is her uncle. Pale Pearl is then brought to the room of requirement two months later. “The room was very vast and designed after Mei's hobbies. Her eyes widened as she realized where she was. "The Room of Requirement." There was a round stage in the middle, very similar to the one her mentor, Xuenv, used to perform on. Further behind it were an assortment of instruments, both Asian and Western (zither, flute, grand piano, shamisen…). More to the left was a wall full of weapons, including two very familiar twin swords. At the right was a study of sorts with bookshelves lined against the wall. The best though, were the other furniture in the far corner: a bed, a dresser… There was even a bathroom! Of course, Ren'S sleeping arrangements were not forgotten.” She also meets Myrtle. She decides to make friends with Draco

Definitely not one to underestimate, yet overestimating such a man will lead to one's downfall." Nothing is added to the series.
SPECIAL ABILITIES: For some reason there was a need for her to have British citizenry so she can go to Hogwarts. What about the republic of Ireland, huh? And what about the fact the Muggle government has nothing to do with the Wizarding government? Well... the reason for her going to Hogwarts is because she's already mastered Eastern magic at age seven. (Sorry... but no.) She also only talks to ghosts and eleves.
NOTES: Chapter five is an author's note explaining Eastern magic. The Japanese kind is based off Naruto, the Chinese is based of f Bleach. But it isn't a crossover until after the half-blood prince. Honestly... it's pretty bad when the story gets a review that says... “You should do the honorifics. Also, England is EASTERN, not western. Western is America and Canada and blah blah blah.” (This is only the case when it's only these areas being mentioned! Otherwise Britain is Western culture.) The character is pretty much a spoiled brat. That also said... when I found this one I didn't realize how annoying it would be.

Sighing deeply, Mei resumed her search for a cabin where to put her trunk. Soon, she found one occupied by only two boys, a red-head and a dark-haired one who were chatting quite animatedly. "Excuse me, you two, do you mind if I join you? The other compartments are full."
Both boys turned to look at her. In the dark-haired boy's eyes was confusion, then recognition. "You're Mei, right? From Ollivander's?" He asked, somewhat hesitant.
"Yes, Mei Uchiha. Ten inches, willow with tengu hair and phoenix feather. According to the man himself, best for Transfiguration and Charms, especially fire spells. And you would be…?"
"Harry. Harry Potter. And he's Ron Weasly." Harry introduced them. "You can sit down if you like. Who knows how long we'll be in the train."
