Here is day four.
Day C: The Clique - The title should be rather self explanatory. The novel series is about a group of girls who are part of an in group and their struggles to remain in. One of the girls happens to be the girl from a poor background who manages to fit in despite the struggles. The movie's pretty much the same. All about fashion, gossip and being trendy.
TITLE:
The Potter CliquePERPETRATOR:
whippedcream99SUE-O-METER:
(bad) (So far it only has two chapters.
COVER/BANNER ART: None.
FULL NAME: Massie Block, Alicia Rivera, Dylan Marvil, Kristen Gregory, Clair Lyons, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Draco, Ginny, Luna, Neville
SPECIES: The first five are girls in a clique, while the others are wizards and witches being forced to spend a month with Mugles.
HAIR: Ron's hair is described as flaming red.
EYES: Like canon I'm assuming.
MARKINGS: Lots of makeup.
POSSESSIONS: Massie and her friends have cell phones on which they talk and text. Kristen has a Kindle Fire. Each member of “The Pretty Committee also has an iPad that has royal purple lettering that also changes colors. They cost around two thousand dollars a pop. Oh... and Luna's not going to be allowed to keep her earings.
CONNECTION TO CANON: So they are stuck going and staying Muggles for a month. They end up at the Block estate where they pop in on Massie and her friends sleeping party and she calls them a bunch of Hobos. They then get excited because these people have special powers. Dylan likes Ron and Hermione says she finds Ron repulsive. Then again, the writer has Dylan burping... so you can get the picture. They then decide to give the girls a make over and tell poor Luna to lose her radish earrings and Hermione her bushy hair, and that they need to flat-iron Ginny's hair. And they put up with it. That is where it ends.
ORIGIN: It is another one of those, “you get a special trip to the Muggle world dears, enjoy” stories.
SPECIAL ABILITIES: You know... there is a secracy issue here but the girls don't get their memories erased.
NOTES: I'm not sure what to say on this one.
SAMPLE:
"Cockroach Clusters!" Harry said, and the gargoyle leapt aside. The three of them entered cautiously.
"Ah, Harry, Hermione, and Ron!" Dumbledore smiled as they entered. "You've arrived."
Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Dumbledore were not alone. Also inside the room was their good friend, Neville Longbottom, Ron's younger sister, Ginny Weasley, their other good friend, Luna Lovegood, and their enemy, Draco Malfoy.
"I expect you're wondering why you're here." Dumbledore said. "None of you are in trouble. I've picked you for a special field trip."
Ron shot up in his chair.
"No, Mr. Weasley, we are not going to Hogsmeade."
Ron slumped in his chair.
"We will be living in the Muggle world for a month. You will attend a Muggle school for a month. This is just a little experiment for me. I've asked all your parents, and they give their permission."
"Even my parents?" Draco looked skeptical.
Dumbledore nodded. "I had to convince them a little but they agreed it would be a good learning experience. And we are leaving now."
"How?" Hermione asked. "We can't Apparate and besides, we're not old enough."
Dumbledore smiled. "Floo Powder." He pointed to the fireplace and took a handful of powder. "Westchester, New York, the Block Estate!" He disappeared.
The rest of them followed, making sure they pronounced the words clearly. And they left, soon to be appearing at Massie Block's house.
