For the forth day of Waverly week we have another fanfic written by Im a Skyscraper. As I've said, she's got a lot of crossovers for Harry Potter and Wizards of Waverly Place. This fanfic isn't just a crossover between these two fandoms, this is a crossover with the Ramona series. The reason... Selena Gomez plays both Alex and Beezus.
TITLE: Dark Secrets

CONNECTION TO CANON: Ramona is home schooled because their mom can only afford to send one girl to school and provide three meals a day. Alex panics because their mom isn't back from work and it has been an hour and a half. She gets a call from the hospital (rather then the police showing up at the door) and there mom is dead. Their brother's can't come because they are at bording school. (Hogwarts) The boys aren't allowed out of school for their mother's funeral (because it is a boarding school). Their car is almost hit by another car and Jerry apparates himself and the girls out of the car. Romona gives a very cute and very un-Romona line '"You're a wizard daddy" Ramona smiles, "you're a good one too. You saved us"'. Apparently their mother erased Alex's memory but not Ramona's. Apparently Alex hasn't attended Hogwarts since her second year because “mom doesn't want her to use magic”. Alex now remembers that she is good friends with Harry and company. A lot of random filler goes on, but the story ends with Alex pregnant with Harry's child despite the fact they are still in school and then they are engaged and they get married. Those are the last two chapters. No clue what happens in between. Do I really want to know?
ORIGIN: Alex and Ramona's parents are divorced. The houses are divided into girls and boys. Jerry lives in England (I think) while Ramona and Alex live in Vancouver Canada.

NOTES: Home school costs money while public school is free Public school also provides free and reduced lunch to students whose families don't make much money. Interior designing has no set hours either and yet the job is treated as if it is an hourly wage job. According to the fic Hogwarts is “a boarding school that they always go to until they turn 17 and start when you are 11.”

The now 14 year old Alexandra "Alex" or "Beezus" Marie Russo, is sitting on her bed with her little 10 year old sister Ramona "Jo" or "Rye" Melinda Russo. Alex and Ramona even have 2 brothers but when their parents got a divorce, their dad, Jerry took the boys while the mom, Theresa took the girls.
Ramona and Alex are curled up together looking through the photo album that Alex found in the floor boards under her purple rug. Just then, Alex runs into a picture that looks so familiar yet not. In the picture, there are 2 boys and a girl standing next to Alex. They are in robes, skirts/pants and wearing yellow and red scarves and gloves since its winter. They are standing in front of a castle laughing. What shocks both girls is the picture is moving.
"Why does this look so familiar?" Alex looks confused at the picture. All of a sudden, Ramona smiles.
"What about you ask mom after she gets home from work?" Ramona asks. Alex looks at her sister and nods.
"I will" Alex confirms. When the divorce happened, Alex, Ramona and Theresa moved to Vancouver, Canada while the guys either stayed in New York or from what Alex heard, London, England.
Theresa works as an artist/house decorator and makes a fair amount of money, but it's not enough for Ramona and Alex to eat 3 times a day and go to school at the same time. So Theresa decided that Alex will go to school as Ramona gets home schooled. Alex put up a fight and is currently not on good terms with their mom.
