When I posted Harry Potter Meets Peter Pan, a few people asked why Jacob Black was at Hogwarts despite the fact the fanfic was supposed to be a Harry Potter crossover. I was actually wondering that until I read the summary for another fanfic by the same writer.
TITLE: Sirius Son Jacob Black

CONNECTION TO CANON Most of them are the canon characters. Except Lily and James's conversation with each other is very fluffy, despite the fact serious things are happening.
ORIGIN: Jacob Black is the son of Sirius Black and Nymphadora Tonks. You heard me correctly on this one. They've been married for two years. Remus is Jacob's godfather.
SPECIAL ABILITIES: Jacob has a “werewolf initiation” because the only way to save the newborn baby is to have him become a werewolf. It is done via venom of course. We also have a baby of Native American decent born of two Caucasians. Also, James got the highest scoring O.W.L.s for his year.
NOTES: There are author's notes stuck in the middle of a lot of the text. One explains what O.W.L.s are. Another explains that owls is used for postal service. Apparently Tonks also doesn't mind being called Dora instead of her real first name.
SAMPLE: “From chapter three...”
"I have some good news and some bad news." The Healer said. "The good news is for Mr. Potter. You are now the father of a healthy 8 pound 10 ounce baby boy. With that being said, it is time for the bad news. Mr. Black, Jacob is not doing well."
"What do you mean?" Sirius asked.
"I mean, unless something changes," The Healer was saying. "there is nothing else we can do to save Jacob and he will die by night fall."
Sirius was crying even harder. James was hugging his best friend.
"James, I can't lose them both." Sirius said between sobs. "I have already lost Dora. Healer what can I do?"
The Healer looked from James to Sirius.
"Nothing…" The Healer said. "Unless…"
"Unless what?" Sirius said. "I will do anything."
James and Sirius was both looking at the Healer.
"Well there is a way to save Jacob." The Healer said.
"What is it?" Sirius demanded.
"Do you know a werewolf?" The Healer asked.
Sirius and James both looked at each other and smiled. Sirius jumped up off of the floor.
"Remus. Remus Lupin." Sirius said. "Remus is a werewolf."
