The overuse of the word fairy in the summary makes me believe she is compensating for something. It's was too boring to finish the excerpt--although I did just see what the last line was. WTF?

Eleven year old boys would'nt tease each other 'knowingly' about fancying someone. It's generally only girls who do that, and probably not for a year or two yet.
