I know this one was just on deleterius, but I just had to give it my own treatment. It's not just every day that a fic can make me feel physically ill.

TITLE: The Christian at Hogwarts
PERPETRATOR: Serena S Snape (I could make a joke here concerning a former president, but nobody would get it)

What, the president whose middle name was S, too? *scratches her head* Or I could be missing the point. It is late.

Oh yes, and as for this fic. It frightens me. ('Course, I got my fair share of glares and talks for being a Christian toting around an HP book, but.... ugh. No words for this fic. None.)

Oh, hey, somebody did get it. I didn't think it was such common knowledge that the S only stood for... S.

Harry S Truman *giggles* I remember this story: his parents couldn't decide between Solomon and Samuel, after his grandfather, so left it at S.

Yeah, the info that bordergold replied with was something random my US History teacher said in a lecture, and I tend to pay more attention to the random snippets than the meat of the lecture (bad me). Though it paid off in that it was the extra credit question on the test ("What does the 'S' stand for?") and as I was the only one who got it right, my teacher bought me a soda. That sorta stuff tends to stick in the brain, instead of, oh, you know, boring things like when the war ended or the name of some guy who invented that thing. :P~

Truman was from around these parts. That shit is hammered into your brain, whether you wanna know it or not.

Oh good, I wasn't the only one who got that joke because we heard about it all the way through kindergarden up. Okay, yeah, he's from here. Now let's all move on with life please.

The Christians got mad?
When I brought one of the books to church, my weird priest like attacked me wanting to discuss the latest book...
