The Boy is groaning in pain at the misuse. He says if Kurt Cobain weren't cremated, he'd be spinning in his grave.
SAMPLE:
Adora and Remus exchanged a look, knowing that an argument would most likely ensue. Adora loved Remus, but hated their tri-weekly study times. Remus also echoed her love, but hated the task of keeping her concentrating on their topic of choice.
"Well," She started, slowly, "I guess we could come in a few minutes-"
"A little while." Remus corrected, giving her a sharp look.
"Whatever. We'll most likely meet you there." She said, a defeated look crossing her face as she glanced down at the heavy Potions book.
Remus caught it, and tried not to exhale another sigh. "You know what, I think we're done here. Just let us put these things away."
Adora let a grin tug at the corners of her lips, slamming the tomb shut as James started his way back to the pitch. She looked at Remus, who was slowly shuffling various pieces of parchment into a pile.
"I'm sorry, Rem." She said, grabbing his wrist.
The two of them had been friends as long as they'd been learning to be appropriate wizards, and the love they felt was a sort of platonic thing. Lots of love was supposed to be platonic, but Merlin knows it never turns out that way. She hated to make him sulky, which she unfortunately was very talented at.
"It's fine. I kept you late plenty of times. I owe you."
She nodded, as they went towards the school. His sandy hair caught the light, and he placed a hand over his eyes, shielding them from the sun.
"Where are your glasses?" She asked casually, looking up at him.
"I don't know." He replied.
"Did you lose them?"
"No."
"Did you forget them?"
"I suppose."
She paused, thinking of the best way to phrase her next question. "Did you not wear them because you're afraid of looking scholarly?"
Unlike the rest of the boys that they were friends with, Remus cared more about books and knowledge than Quidditch. And everyone knew that the girls fell for the Quidditch players. She hated Remus to think that way, it made her angrier than anything to think he'd make himself blind for a girl.
By the time she felt the need to speak, they were in his dormitory, setting books on his bed.
"Remus, doll, you can't..." She trailed off, looking at him.
Adora could see the two lenses in the corner of her eye, and started for them. By the time her fingers were wrapping around the frame, he caught onto her game plan.
"Adora, put those down." He demanded, trying to snatch them from her fingers.
"No." She answered, fire in her dark green eyes. "I refuse to let you act ridiculously about these stupid glasses."
"Even you think they're dumb and you're my friend."
She shook her head, gently placing them on his face. "Darling, don't think you need to be a Meathead Jock to attract girls. Trust me, plenty of girls are into the mysterious bookworm." She said, pulling on his hand, leading him towards the door.
