Another link that should not have been in my badfic folder. The weird part is, my computer won't let me move the links to my history folder. I'm trying. Some malevolent intelligence in my computer thinks Beowulf is a Mary-Sue!

TITLE: Carly Mullet (Mullet! Ha ha!)

Is 'yanks' still common British slang?

Dunno, but we still use it in Canada. *shrug* Usually Yankee though, not 'Yanks'. Yanking is something you do to someone when you want them to be anywhere else but where they are. :P

We still use it in Ireland.... although it's usually only older people who say it.

Mullet...ok that is funny. And yet another exchange student meets the Marauders and shags one story...boring.

Oh, I HATE when they misinterpret this--

“No one in there has come out without being part of the dark side.”

No, it's no one on the dark side has ever been in any other house. This does NOT mean that everyone in that house is on the dark side. All squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares (I think)--arg--

*flails in anger*

no one on the dark side has ever been in any other house

And that isn't even true. Peter Pettigrew was a Gryffindor.

*is ashamed* You're, of course, right...

I was thinking about when Hagrid said in the first book something along the lines of how not a single witch or wizard who went bad was in a different house...er...
