Pardon? The Weasleys are proud to say they are perfectly normal? I've got to call BS on that one. Even among wizards, the Weasleys are known for being strange--a clan of redheaded blood traitors, whose head is a man who thinks the world of muggles and the inventions that most wizards considered beneath them--and I always got the feeling that most of them are pretty proud of that, Percy being the sole exception, and I think he probably outgrew that (for want of better term) after book seven after he acknowledged his mistakes and made amends with his family.

Ginny comes off badly here, like a typical kid whining about how much work she has to do. I can see her having to do more chores than her brothers, but only because most of her brothers are older than her and have jobs or other places to be or that they can go. Ron is close enough in age that he would certainly have the same amount of chores to do as Ginny. Sure, I could understand a kid complaining about it like they have more chores than their siblings, but the writing implies that this isn't just a kid whining; it's actually true. We see Ron doing more chores in canon than Ginny, I think, and even Harry helps out whenever he's at the Burrow.

Unfortunately, Ginny just seems wildly inconsistent here anyway. She's a follower of Hecate not by choice, but then she's really intensely into it because being a follower of Hecate makes her better than regular wizards? And I don't remember much Greek mythology or Percy Jackson canon, but I don't think it makes much sense for he to side with Voldemort--and then there's more inconsistencies, because that sure doesn't sound like what the summary says is happening!

More immortal than immortal. I can't even.
