CONNECTION TO CANON: None, as you could easily replace all references to Hogwarts and have an original fiction. The plot though is this David gets to go to tournaments, and goes up against someone ten years older then him, and gets fucked as a reward instead. (Wouldn't this bust his concentration instead of help it?) Actually, girls don't randomly award guys like this either, they would need to have an ongoing relationship, and he clearly says they're just friends.

NOTES: So, this writer didn't start off writing PWP. During August of last year they focused on a lot of Scorpius/Rose oneshots. However, during Januaray and February they for some reason decided to switch to PWP pieces. Did they not read the rules when they joined?

David sat in the Ravenclaw Common Room, attempting to relax himself. He'd just one the semi-final of his first major tournament (now holding the record for youngest ever duelist to reach the semis) and he had to defeat a four time champion, 10 years his senior, in the final. In fourteen days. Together, they were proving that age and experience weren't necessarily crucial to be victorious, but really, he wasn't entirely sure if he could beat the reining champ'.
He was incredibly nervous, and all of his friends had noticed. Although they didn't mention it to him, he knew that they were all very concerned about him, and had settled for encouraging him at every opportunity. Something he greatly appreciated. But it didn't ease the fact that he knew that he was completely outclassed.
He honestly thought he was certain to lose, and was struggling to bring himself to keep training hard for a final he didn't think he'd win. He was slowly but surely losing his incentive. Little did he realize that this was quickly going to change…
