(no subject)

I hate it when the Prophet prints something that I can't get out of my head. It's happened more times in my life than I care to admit to, but it hasn't happened in a while, or under circumstances like these.

A single, currently unknown, perpetrator...

And there it is. That one line keeps coming back to me. It's too familiar, it rings of things that are supposed to be firmly in the past. No wonder MUd was suspected -- it's always easier to believe that terror comes from the madness of a reckless crowd rather than a single, unstoppable someone. But I can't help but think that we should know better. We've known single, unstoppable someones before, one in particular, and he escaped notice during his rise to power because he worked alone.

A single, currently unknown, perpetrator.

If things keep going this way... by the time we have a name, it'll be too late.
