Weee... Planning my summer vacation!
My parents have decided to drag me to China for a month during the summer... joyous!
After my parents cotemplating (is that how you spell it?) about how to spend the summer, they decided to take me and my sister to China. Yay!
My mom's probably going to reserve plane tickets this week. I'm spending 4 weeks there, and so is my mom (she got an extra week off from work!) and my sister, and my dad's going to spend 3 weeks (he said he can't stay away for longer). We're probably going to stop in Vancouver for a few days, then go with some sort of travel group to the Shanghai, Honzhou, and a few other places around there, then fly or take the train back to Beijing, and spend the rest of the two weeks left there.
Part of the reason we're going is because my grandparents wanted my dad to be there during their 69th year and birthdays. So he might spend a bit more time home, than my mom and I.
I love going shopping there. Brand name stuff is pretty much the same price, but there's a lot of trendy little boutiques that sell clothes at dirt cheap prices. And I'll have to get a few more Chinese/English, English/Chinese, and Chinese dictionaries as mine are a bit outdated. And I love buying stationary, and journals and stuff there, it's all so cute!
I must also get a few anime DVD's, and manga books there. And some C-Pop CD's. And I'll probably go out to eat a lot, since even there classier restarauts are pretty cheap.
Yep... it'll be fun, except for the fact I'll be there in AUGUST.... Oh dear, I can't stand heat! Must stay in air-conditioned places. :) But still I'd rather go there in spring or fall, but my parents were saying that they didn't want me and my sister to miss school. :(
