Another.... pretty bad day.
Well... I decided it was time I should start actually writing LJ posts, so they'll be more of Tina's problems coming to a computer screen near you! :)
Let's see... what have I done in the past few weeks....
Hmm.. well I can tell you that I am hated by most of the school! The problem with being in the gifted class... I had a guy ask me if we were studying University grade Calculus... URGHH!!
Umm.. what else... oh... I made it onto school council, but I lost my campaign to become "secretary" on the exec. council. My speechs were just horrible...
And I'm starting to play flute, YAY!
Today...
Started out pretty well, I was slightly procrastinating about the unit test we had in LA. Then I froze my butt off waiting for the bus... I tried to study on the bus, but Sujay, James, and Cameron are very distracting when they start telling embarressing stories of each other.
Uh... the morning part of my day was good, nothing out of the ordinary.
I helped mark math tests at lunch... umm... the average of the page I was marking was... 7/15 (which is a fail), it says put the fraction in LOWEST terms, and to write a concluding sentence... sheesh
Uh... music was pretty good, I think I'm getting better.
Gym was horrible, we just started football. See, I'm fine with volleyball, and basketball, but I SUCK at football. And my swollen finger proves it, I don't think I'll be able to practice the piano or flute tonight. I just iced my finger, so hopefully the swelling will go down before bed.
I think I did okay on my LA test, I think I got all of the multiple choice, and matchup questions right, but I don't think I wrote enough on the second essay question.
Good news is that I found out that my science average is 95% at the moment (it should be higher but until Gr.10 our school has a policy on no giving any marks higher that 95%), bad news is that might not be the mark on my report card, because that was only the first unit, and we have another unit we just started. And I got a 30 outta 35 on the first quiz (85% or so).
