The Fat Friar told me that Umbridge tried to get back into his [Dumbledore's] office last night after they'd searched the castle and the grounds for him. Couldn't get past the gargoyle. The Head's office has sealed itself against her. Apparenly she had a right little tantrum...

Time to catch up on a few things: Daniel Radcliffe has turned 16 4 days ago. Where are the years flying by? He's already 16! You know what that means! My half birthday was yesterday. I'm halfway done with being 15 and I was getting so comfortable with this age. Now, as you can probably tell I have barely made my entries non-HP related. It might take me a few more weeks before I can get out of my HBP coma. I'm breathing, eating, and sleeping HP right now. Such is my behaviour that I watched The Village last night and you know how my brain reacted? All it did was spot HP parallels in the movie.
- Those we don't speak of- can we say Lord Voldemort's offspring?
- The Meat Eaters- They are in fact Death Eaters
- A Forbidden Forest!
- Lucius!
- A family of redheads!
- Percy!
- Kitty- sounds like Cissy (maybe I am overdoing it)
- The warnings of being vigilant
- Magic rock- Philospher's stone
- The colour red- the Dark Mark
- The colour yellow- Patronus
- the message of love overcoming things
That was easily 12 coincidences. Now for my actual opinion. It was relaxing hearing a change of language with their 18th century talk. The plot was simply splendid with the spooky creatures. So HP. The one thing that left me befuddled I must admit was the ending. I know that Ivy Walker did not just time travel through the forest (if she did, there's another HP connection) so I was forced to conclude that she did in fact belong to an Amish community and she had crossed over into civilization. That however conflicts with the movie info the digital cable provided. It clearly stated that the setting was that of an 18th century town. Some help here, reecep ? I was getting creepy shipping thoughts into my head since Ivy reminded me, by appearance, slightly of Ginny. Ginny/Lucius, dear Lord no! That's about it. Yes, I'm failing my audience here. This is much too short for my liking but for the sake of utilizing my lj as therapy I must go on.
Oh, here's something for ridicule. The other day I walked in on a guy who was urinating. I'm in my own apartment and I have the misfortune of running into a stranger who's in the bathroom. Assumptions can be dangerous, let me tell you. I just wanted to pee and I checked to see if everyone in the apartment was elsewhere. I wondered why the door was closed. Oh. My. God. I got my answer alright.
If you're yearning to read a bit more, I have a treat for you.
