Hi, friends of the real mail!
Hi to all the people who have participated in the pottervalentine exchange!
This is the place to register for the (hopefully) fabulous Christmas Card Exchange I'm organizing this Christmas.
This is a real mail card exchange, where one Potter character (you) writes a Christmas Card to another Potter character (your partner).
It works like the Valentine Card Exchange -pottervalentine- which was soooo much fun last spring.
I hope there will be as many people joining this time as well!
It works like this: I'm going to post a poll which will be active from the 10th of October to the 10th of November.
There you will be asked for:
- your e-mail address
- your name and mailing address
- and your (specific) Card preferences: for the card you want to get as well as for the card you'd like to send (more details on this when I post the poll).
On November 10th the poll will be closed, I will match you with a fitting partner, and you will get an e-mail telling you the address and wishes of your partner (not linked to her/his lj-username, of course).
I guarantee that the only 2 persons getting to see your address will be me and your partner.
This system worked perfectly for the Valentine's Day Exchange, so don't worry :)!
You should then send out your card at the beginning of December, ensuring it to arrive in time - hopefully there will be people from all over the world participating, and I'm trying to match people to get "foreign partners", because I think that's much more fascinating (if you want to get/send mail from your own country only, there will be an option in the poll).
Around Christmas you will get your own card. That's it :)!
