on fanficrants grousing about the over-use of rapid-fire twinspeak in fics. And I realized "there's a lot more, too!"
How about:
- 'Mione as an extremely overused abbreviation for Hermione's name (to the point of her never being called Hermione, like, ever)

If the story's otherwise interesting, it's usually easy enough to ignore those horrifying clichés enough to read it through. Can't always manage, of course...

1. Remus being obsessed with Chocolate - Yes, he has always some with him during book three, but there are Dememtors around and he is the Dada (another Cliche) teacher.
2. Slytherins being only bad because the whole school hates them and they get bullied on a regular basis.
3. Goblins helping Harry in any shape and form (not even the last book could cure that chliche).
4. The stupid Sirius/Serious joke.Every Fic seems to need one.
5. Ron being totally stupid, no matter the topic. And eating all the time. And everyone commending on the fact.
6. Harry having a lot of looks on his bedroom door (that's the movie, not the book).
7. Sirius being obsessed with his hair.
8. Theodor Nott, the most evil Slytherin of all (which is particular strange since in the books he is the only Slytherin boy in Harry's year who never utters anything against Muggelborns).
9. Molly, the overbearing, manipulative controlfreak.
And those are only the ones on top of my mind...
