Draco/Hermione gone horribly wrong
I get this sadomasochistic urge sometimes to head over to fanfiction.net and read as many Draco/Hermione fanfics I can get my hands on. Invariably, they involve either summer makeovers or Head Boy/Head Girl antics; the worst are a hideous combination of the two.
WHY, I ask?? The whole point of getting unlikely characters together is the journey of circumstances that makes it happen; what fun is skewing the characters until they are nothing like their canon selves? And why is it so hard to understand that the Head Boy and Head Girl do not have their own private dorms? Percy stayed in Gryffindor when he was Head Boy, right?
Grr.
Anyway, after reading way too many said fics, this came out of me, which encompasses pretty much everything I hate about badly done D/Hr.
