Leading a love story to the point where the happy couple is going to have a baby is actually a cliché in itself - and it's even one I can talk competently about because I do that all the time. Yet by reading through a few fics in the last day I discovered something I actually found quite funny

I mean, "Dante" is an interesting name, isn't it?

But what's about "Aubrey"? I know it isn't the worst of names, but I met once a Snape daughter named "Aubrey" in a fan fiction - and after only one chapter with her I doubted already my liking for children (and even told one of my foster daughters she shouldn't look so "Aubrey" at me!).

I couldn't get beyond the 2nd chapter of that one. For different reasons. Why *Aubrey*? That's a boy's name. WHy not *Audrey* which is probably totally unrelated, but at least is one given to girls?

I didn't know that (never heard the name "Aubrey" before), but this child was so annoying I wished to throttle the author (actually: I wished already to throttle her for the title of her fic. And I can't stand rapefic).
