My Family!
Eris grew up more loved than any other kid she knew.
First of all, she had three daddies! Three!! Most kids only had one! Some had two, but she had three! Three daddies who loved her so much! And to top it all off, she had a mommy, too!! That's four parents! That's two or three more than anyone else she knew had!
There was her Daddy, who was always there to take care of her. Whenever Daddy was around, she was always up in the air. He'd scoop her up in his arms and put her on his shoulders, or on his back, or just hold her. When he was sitting down, he'd pick her up and put her on his lap, and then read to her, if he was reading, or play with her hair, or watch a movie with her. Daddy made sure she never felt lonely or unloved.
And then there was her Dad. Whenever Eris was with Dad, she always had the most fun! He would do all sorts of silly things, which always made her laugh. Dad was silliest parent she had, though Daddy could be silly, too, and together they were even sillier! With Dad, she always had a smile on her face.
Daddy Remus was there, too. He was the one who read to Eris most. And he even let her read to him! Daddy Remus always had a book with him, and Eris always wanted to see it and study the words and the cover. She liked Daddy Remus' books. They were always old and battered, and they reminded her of Daddy Remus himself. And he was always happy to show them to her, and tell her all kinds of things. When she was with Daddy Remus, she always learned something new.
And last, but not least at all, was Mommy Lily. When Eris was with Mommy Lily she could act differently than she did with any of her daddies. She could giggle and try on clothes and shoes, and wear Mommy Lily's make-up. And while Eris liked running around, climbing trees, and playing in the dirt better, she always had fun being girl-y with her Mommy Lily.
Eris thought she had the BEST family ever! And she loved each and every one of them just as much as they loved her.
