Missed Movie Images

I'll now post some missed scenes from the PoT movies.

Near the beginning of The Two Samurais: The First Game, a seagull is flying over and around the cruise ship.  The weather seemed nice, too.



Here is the famous scene with a powerful Tezuka Zone.  To show its exaggerated power, they made a image of it breaking up a meteor and killing dinosaurs, which scares Jean-Jacques Marseault.  Serves him right!

 

During the singles games, the doubles players were captured, pursued, and threatened.  Oishi's expression suddenly changes due to worrying.


This is what he was worrying about.  Kikumaru was so close to getting the gun away, but Oishi's change of expression gives it away.  Both the crook and victim are shocked by the discoveries.

 

Now we'll move on to Atobe's Gift.  I think all the scenes of that movie can fall under the celebrations theme.

Here is a screencap of minor and mostly forgotten PoT characters.


Near the beginning, a scared Kamio is yelling and running out of the shop because his captain asked him to try some soup with a live fish and possibly some other strange ingredients.  This is also one of the rare times we see Captain Tachibana smiling.

 
 

Unfortunately for Kamio, it was out of the frying pan and into the fire when he ran into Inui trying to give him his juice.


The dance takes place after all the events.  I don't know why they had Kikumaru be the DJ.  Karupin and Daigorou are on the shelf.  Did their owners bring them to the festival? If so, where were they all day? This image and most of the next ones can also fall under the themes of music and siblings.


In this image, we see Kabaji's sister looking back at him.  Around her people are dancing.  On the right, the Tachibana siblings are dancing together in their school uniforms.  I'm not sure what school uniform the dancing girl on the left is wearing.  I'm guessing Hyotei or Rikkaidai.


In this movie, we get to see Kabaji show some emotion and talk more than just "Usu."  During the day, he seemed upset when he saw his sister walking by.  At the dance, she waves to him, and he smiles.  They then dance together as Captain Atobe and Inoue talk about them.

 
 
 

Atobe's Gift gives us a different perspective on Captain Atobe.  He actually cares about Kabaji and appreciates what he does.  I find the last few scenes, including the one with the gratitude, touching.  All those one the plane see the message on the ground.
