Media Cover Flashbacks
I just recalled some CD and DVD covers with younger versions of characters. First, is Oishi's CD, Two. I don't get why there is are 1st and 3rd year versions of him.
Here are the DVD covers of Another Story with young Hyotei and Rikkaidai.
There are also scrolls of young Hyotei and Rikkaidai.
Now for some flashback scenes of the Fuji siblings. Little Syusuke is being the protective older brother while young Yumiko watches.
I also just recalled flashbacks of a minor character of a filler episode, Iwakura Gen. We see a picture of Gen and his son, Tatsuya, a few times. One night, Gen mistook Kawamura for Tatsuya because Kawamura reminds him of Tatsuya.
When Gen's wife finds him, he flashes back again. The first image is the doors of Gen Sushi. Chizuko arrives to inform Gen about their son's death, and Gen pushes through the crowd to see Tatsuya dead.
I found this episode, The Best Sushi Chef in Japan, to be a tearjerker. It was hard for me to go through the episode again for the screencaps. I wonder why they had to make such a sad filler episode.
