Happy new year, everyone! And I'm sorry for disappearing the way I have. I think it was primarily emotional/social exhaustion while I adjusted to my new job.
Things that are new:
Job! It's great! Most of the time. It's also been very illuminating about how insulted some people can be when you ask for their ID. When they want money out of an account that you can't otherwise verify belongs to them.
Chickens! They're bigger now! And one of them is laying eggs! Do you all want photos? I have photos.
Therapy! I quit going. I felt like I had gotten as much as I could out of my current therapist, and the fact that my work schedule changes every week made it really difficult to get in a regular appointment.
Things that haven't changed:
Family situation! Still living at home (paying rent now). Mom still being the way she is, and has recently started a feud with dad's sister that is still ongoing.
Love for chickens! Having them has not changed anything. I am so happy with my chickens. I want more chickens.
Partners! Still in an open relationship with beasts_and_men.
