(no subject)
Soooo it's Finals Week. I had one today, which I walked all the way across campus in the rain for BTW because I couldn't figure out from the posted bus schedule if regular buses were running today or not (turns out they are). Think I did okay with the test, though, even though some things recently prevented me from actually studying, which I wanted to do.
My only other final is on Thursday, so I have two days to chill and clean up my room a bit, did most of the cleaning last week though. Mostly I'll be working on some art. First finishing up another piece for Neopets (might or might not show you guys, if you don't know the character in it I am not sure it is as funny) and then maybe some fandomish sketches. I'm feeling confident in the level my art is at now to maybe make some money on it, so I'm playing around with some charm/sticker ideas. But I'm at the point now where I can sit down with an idea and draw it and have it come out close to what I was thinking, which is a comfortable place to be, and I really like how finished my art looks when I use Sai.
The one sticking point will probably be stylizing characters such that they're recognizable, considering I'm, you know, face-blind and can't actually recognize people. Although it is easier in film and easier still in still images, so I think I'll be able to figure it out.
Hmmmmm...I don't think there's anything else I was going to say. beasts_and_men have been tired lately so we've only been emailing rather than chatting, so I miss them a bit. We did skype over the weekend though, and they taught me some BSL o u o (uh, British Sign Language, not Breed-Specific Legislation, LOL.) It's definitely a lot more comfortable than verbalizing, for me. Although so far I mostly only know a slew of nouns that wouldn't be helpful in most conversations...except for 'cat', which is useful in any conversation with beasts_and_men.
Thinking of taking one of the vitamin pills I bought last week - not because I'm feeling bad, but because I'm looking back on what I've eaten the past few days and think it would be a good idea - but am hesitating. Think I'm a bit traumatized after chewing the first one 6 n 9
Also there's some other exciting stuff going on that those of you on my filters already know about, but I'm waiting a bit to make a more public announcement. So I guess I'm just teasing y'all now 9 u 6 *wiggles fingers*
