Tandoor-style chicken without a tandoor

The whole family, including kids (!), loves tandoori chicken. Last night I tried a homemade version:

Marinate c. 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts in:

1 large clove garlic, minced
1 Tb fresh ginger, minced
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp coriander seeds, ground
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin seeds, ground
1/2 tsp black pepper, ground
1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
1/8 tsp ground cloves
2 Tb lemon juice
1/2 c yogurt

Put them under broiler, turning once, until done.

The family thought it was very very tasty and "one for the recipe box", but I thought it came out a bit dry. Any suggestions on how to make it less so when you don't have a tandoor?
