Summary: Blaise remembers watching Him
A/N: AU, based on the 3rd movie
Blaise remembers when Draco sent a folded crane to Him. He remembers Him crumpling it up and tossing it on the ground. Blaise remembers staying after class and scooping the paper up off the ground.
Now, as the war churns around him, he shoves his hand into his black death eater robe and pulls out the paper. He watches Potter fly and crash over and over. He caresses it and brings it to his nose, the faint smell of Him still lingering after all these years. His eyes peer out through his silver mask and scan the battlefield. Screams mix with the curses, making them stronger. Then he finds him.
Potter is fighting through the ranks of death eaters, trying to get to the black gilded throne where Voldemort sits upon. Granger and Weasley are on either side of him and Blaise longs to be there. It should be him there at Potter's side.
He grits his teeth as a slicing curse nicks his arm. A muttered spell pauses the bleeding, and he makes his way across the field.
