Open Log: Clubbing

What: Clubbing, dancing, flirting socializing...whatever people want to do

Comments: Shinji made an open invitation in his journal for anyone who felt like going out and hitting a club tonight. This log is for anyone who wants to be bad/crazy/whatever and go. Just jump in and have fun!
When he’d seen the half-hidden club a couple weeks back while having ice cream with Kenya, Shinji somehow knew he’d be ending up there. And he had the week before, but in his effort to lose himself, he had lost more than that. Which Shinji hated, because he had wanted to be able to remember having stepped out of his own skin, so here he was again, another Friday night where he gave himself over to the beast he felt crawling under his skin.
Unlike the week before, though, when he had gone with Kenya, Shinji slipped out alone, wanting those moments to himself.
Shinji’s eyes were closed as he lost himself to the lights and beat on the dance floor. For someone that could be so self-conscious in his day-to-day existence, he was fluid grace on the dance floor, not caring what the strangers thought of him. Shinji didn’t care about much at that moment, other than the beat that was pulsing through his body, and for the first time in longer than Shinji cared to remember, he felt comfortable with himself.
Idly, he wondered if anyone from school was going to take him up on his offer, but he shrugged. If someone wanted him right then, they could find him, and if not, he’d look around for any familiar faces…later.
