Just a little bit more.
Less than two weeks from now, I'm gonna be done with junior year. Finally. I cannot wait for this to end. This has been the most exhausting year of my life. I can't even find the drive to study anymore. Wonderful. Look, four-day weekend due to the country's political state, and here I am still not finished with my homework.
Also, watch me attempt to do the impossible: finish my school paper's layout in 8 days. I have done nothing whatsoever yet. I don't even know how I'm going to squeeze it in between all the school work I still have left to in the next 10 days, but let's hope I finish it on time, because the grades of about 30 other people depend on whether I finish the layout on time.
After all this, however, I'm gonna have my almost-three-month summer break. I'm starting it by going to my friend's sixteenth birthday bash which he says will be prom-themed. Wonderful. I thought I filled my quota for wearing gowns for the year, but no, I have to pretend to be a girl for one more time. FUCK. But hopefully this will turn out better than my real prom (which was a huge disappointment).
Speaking of prom, the night was unfortunately not "the best night of my high school life," as many people say. My hair looked stupid, the seniors dominated the dancefloor like it's their prom and not ours (I mean, we juniors paid for the damn thing!), so my friends and I opted to stay out of the hall most of the time, and the picture-taking system was so unorganized that I just wasted a good 150 bucks for a group picture that was never taken because my name was never called due to the fact that there were lots of other people waiting to have their picture taken too, and the fucking photographers didn't call everyone in the order they paid but instead called only whoever was there. What were we supposed to do, hang around outside the whole night? Gah. I hope next year turns out better.
