I'm going to the beach!
And this time it's for real.
Damn, that sounded like a line from a really stupid love song.
Anyway. I'm really going to the beach, and I'm swimming this time! Yay! A friend is celebrating her birthday next Sunday (the 24th), and she invited me and a few other friends to their beach house/resort/whatever-the-point-is-it-has-sand-and-saltwater in Batangas on April 21-23 to celebrate!! OMG I'm so excited. She's a really good friend of mine, and I'm so thrilled to celebrate with her. And omg it's the beach!!
She's mentioned this since last year already, and I was like, "sure, let's go to your place and celebrate", and we were like, "dude, i hope this actually pushes through omg!!" because we've made a lot of plans, even just little gimmicks like going to the movies or something, and they almost never push through, especially during sophomore year because we weren't classmates anymore. :( But look, it's just a week away, and there are no signs yet of it not pushing through! Yay!
So. We're leaving on Thursday after lunch, and then we'll arrive there at maybe 5 or 6, then we're gonna have a bonfire and just hang out and bond and stuff during the night. And then the next day we're going swimming in the morning and then boating in the afternoon. The day after that, we're just gonna.. I dunno, we've got nothing in particular planned, so just, do some bonding, I guess. And then we're leaving, and going back to the polluted city, which is so unlike the beach.
And the week after that is my cousin's birthday, and hopefully we're going swimming again! Gonna hang out with older people (not so old, but too old for me to hang out with under normal circumstances), aka her friends, but I should be fine, since I've already met her boyfriend (and went to the movies with the two of them.. I looked like I was chaperoning them omg) and he was nice, although he isn't very good-looking. (Er. no offense to my cousin, since he's one of the nicest guys I've met and even offered to give me swimming lessons last year because I didn't want to fail swimming class)
So, by the end of summer, I'd be so dark no one will recognize me at school, lol.
