My brother-in-law Alan (married to Sheila's 2nd oldest sister, Eileen) had a heart attack yesterday afternoon. He passed away just before midnight.. He had been very sick for a long time (diabetes, heart disease, several heart attacks), but still...
We are leaving at 6 AM to drive up to Massachusetts for the wake. Funeral on Wednesday.
To say Eileen is devastated would probably be selling short the word devastated. Coming home either Thursday or Friday. Will write then.
