VArious Updates and Shout Outs
Lotsa things been going on, but not really big enough to warrant their own post (at least as busy as I've been lately...)
-- My condolences to barkeyhead for having to put his dog, Sparky, down. He was a good dog, but had terrible seizures, and was beyond the help of medicine. Definitely sad.
-- Hey, did any of you notice that #5 entertainer of the year for 2006 in Entertainment Weekly was YouTube? OR didja notice that among the pictures of various videos there on the EW page was a larger than most picture of Chad Vader, which my good friends rob_matsushita and baronvonreed have starred in!
Rob has been in three of the five episodes as Lloyd and the Baron was in one as the Waiter.
Sigh, a brush with greatness!

-- World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade comes out Tuesday. Just when I thought I was out... They PULL ME BACK IN! DAMN YOUSE, WIZARD! DAMN YOUSE TO HELLLLLLLLL!!! (Yes, I've already pre-ordered...)
-- Congrats to my co-worker, Nelson whose girlfriend just gave birth to their first son. (Unexpectedly for us at work, he told NO ONE...)
-- I recently tried out for a singer/guitarist duo. It went well and I got a callback (which I couldn't make). I am hoping this might be something new and interesting for this year.
-- Danny has been hurt and missed our last three gigs. I just spoke to him and he should be back for next Friday's show at the Sandbar.
-- My prayers go out to Bobby Murcer as he battles cancer.
-- I'd like to pat Brian Cashman on the back for three great trades (Sheffield, Wright and Big Unit gone) and two great signings (Igawa and Pettitte). BRING ON BASEBALL!

-- I might have a chance at a new position here at the club. Dunno if I want it. More later.
-- Sheila and I have to go shopping tonight for her family's Christmas Stocking Night which is Saturday.
