Very good work. While I personally don't see Calypso as necessarily cruel (and especially not to William--who she seems to fancy some), it's certainly a plausible enough idea. The sea _is_ cruel, after all.

Well written, and while I don't necessarily expect Elizabeth to realistically go without for her lifetime, I'm glad she took up with someone who had no connection to Will - doing so with Jack just smacks to me of a friend screwing Will over (well, two friends, actually).
